How to Have The Most Relaxing Bath

It’s the winter time in Canada… it’s freezing all the time. I’m not the type of person who just warms up as soon as they get inside, the cold lingers with me..it’s not a fun time. So to relieve this, I pretty much go in the bath like once a day, if not at least a few times a week. I’ve mastered the process, and so I thought I would share my knowledge with my readers.

Step 1. Get all your props ready. I’m talking bath bombs, bubble bath, bath salts, body scrubs etc. My favourite place to buy all that stuff is Lush Cosmetics. I’ve tried bath bombs from all over the place and I can honestly say nothing compares to lush. Their bombs make the water the most opaque with whatever colour it is, and they produce the most bubbles, even more so than liquid bubble bath. It can get pretty pricey especially with how much I bathe, but I honestly think it’s worth it.

Step 2. Tell your family (if you live at home) that you’re going in the bath and don’t want to be bothered. It is truly the most annoying thing to have to scream across the house when you’re in the bath trying to relax.

Step 3. Find some sort of entertainment. Some people are simple and just like relaxing music and to sit with their thoughts, I personally can’t stand my thoughts so I distract myself with TV. I bring my Macbook into the bathroom and rest it on a stool and watch Netflix. My pick of choice currently is Ozark season 2. It’s intense, not necessarily relaxing but man do I love that show.

I just soak until I look like a grandma and then voila!
